If you live in Barcelona, you may know that in summer, when the sun goes down, we can enjoy some of the best movies right in front of the sea.
Cinema Lliure a la Platja screens films that have appeared in film festivals from Spain and abroad throughout the year, becoming a quality and free independent cinema showcase in the summer. Feature films produced in Catalonia, Spain, Europe and international territory are selected in order to offer a diverse cultural taste. In addition, a screening is always reserved for the family audience so that the little ones can also enjoy the good cinema of the summer nights on the beach.
Before the screening of each feature film, a short film selected by the FILMETS Badalona Film Festival is screened. In one of the sessions, the winning short film of the call open to film schools in Catalonia will also be screened.
